The Amazing Race Corporate Challenge is a fundraising event for CanDo4Kids, through my business I have sponsored a team to participate in the event. The team consists of myself, son Aaron, brother Paul and friend Micheal.
Aaron instigated the process of entering the race, to help raise funds for CanDo4kids. CanDo4kids are helping Aaron, Kris and kids with Noah who has a vision impairment.
Aaron called in today at work and dropped off some information about what is needed to be taken for the 2 day challenge, he had been to a meeting the night before at CanDo4Kids. The Corporate challenge website stopped accepting and displaying the donations to the teams today so I needed to pay my fundraising efforts to CanD0.
As it stands today we have raised nearly $4,500 , Aaron informed me today that team nominations commenced in April, we nominated our team only a couple a months ago. Am looking forward to next year where we can have a longer time frame to raise money.
